3rd Global Conference on Environmental Education and Lifelong Learning (EELL) – 2025.
At the intersection of globalization and modernity, the convergence of corporate interests and Indigenous land rights has emerged as a pivotal issue in global economic governance and ecological conservation. Under the theme “Balancing Prosperity and Heritage: Indigenous Lands, Big Corporations, and Sustainable Futures,” the 2025 EELL North America Regional Conference invites media, governments, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, environmental organizations, policy makers, civil society, the United Nations, and concerned citizens to collectively explore pathways that respect Indigenous sovereignty and foster equitable collaboration.
This conference aims to establish a pluralistic dialogue platform centered on six core themes: From the historical defense of land rights and sovereignty to ethical frameworks for corporate responsibility, Integrating Traditional Ecological Knowledge with modern environmental stewardship, Cultural heritage-driven economic paradigms,Critical examinations of policy landscapes,Youth empowerment for intergenerationalcontinuity.
