Umar Josiah is PACCPolicy Research Fellow responsible for Renewable Energy. Mr. Danbaba is a graduate of (B.Eng) Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, he is a certified Solar Photovoltaic Installation Supervisor under the Nigeria Energy Support Program (NESP) and a Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI) West Africa Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) Alumni. He is currently the Head of Operation at ACOB Lighting Technology Limited where he is primary involved in carrying out survey for rural electrification for power deprived communities in Nigeria, facilitating feasibility studies for off grid power solution for rural community, due diligence and project deployment.  His exploits have successfully gained him the admiration of management with the design of the solar mini grid electrification technical layout for rural communities under the REA Solar mini grid pilot programme. Josiah has deployed three (3) mini-grids thus enhancing assess to energy and socio-economic development.
