Kwame Anane Frempong
Kwame Anane Frempong is founder and Director of the Pan African Centre for Climate (PACC) Policy where he oversees all of the Center’s programs, and chairs the Advisory Board. Mr. Frempong has over 15 years of experience in Africa development focused policy formulation, project management and coordination. Kwame has both public and private sector experience and has worked for the Government of Ghana National Youth Authority under the Youth & Employment Ministry. He served with the Global Youth Action Network a US based non-governmental organization. He was part of the United Nations Interagency Expert Group Meeting on Goals and Targets for Monitoring the Progress of Youth in the Global Economy New York, May 2007. As a Serial Entrepreneur, Kwame has contributed to numerous youth startup social enterprise initiatives in Ghana and Nigeria. He has coordinated projects funded by World Bank, UNICEF and Ford Foundation.
Anane Frempong holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health from Roehampton University, London, UK, B.A in Social Science from York University, Toronto, Canada and Diploma in Youth Development from University of Ghana, Legon. Kwame is also a co-founder of the Climate Solutions Advancement Network, a Canadian based NGO that is focussed on promoting awareness of and investment in Climate Solutions.
