Research Fellow – Nationally Determined Contributions
Chima Obinka is a PACC Policy research fellow responsible for Nationally Determined Contributions. Chima is a master’s student in Agricultural Economics and Environmental Policy under the World Bank Centre of Excellence in Agriculture hosted by the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria. Chima is in his research year, and is currently working on the ‘Impacts Climate Smart Agricultural practices, have on the technical efficiency of rice farmers in Nigeria’. A very passionate researcher, skilled in the area of Agricultural and Environmental Economics, Climate Change and Policy Briefs. Bagging certificates from both Galilee International Management, Israel and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) among many other certificates.
Chima also co-authored a journal titled Effect of Industrial Externalities on Technical Efficiency among Cassava-Based Farming Households in Ewekoro Local Government Area, Ogun State, Nigeria, which was published in the Nigerian Journal of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
Chima has a post graduate diploma in Education, and is a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Chima also has a B.Agric. in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management.
